Since I had my miscarriage, I have had this overwhelming need to tackle and accomplish new experiences. One thing that I have decided to do is to attempt to run a 5k. I am not athletic in any way, shape, or form. I have started slowly and the Cool Runnings website and Couch to 5k app have been very helpful.
This time of year, there are always Zombie Runs and they have created an app to help you train for a zombie apocalypse. November 2nd, we are going out for the Zombie Run Family Fun 1k. It should be interesting and I am so excited about it. I am not ready yet for the 5k, but I am starting small and working hard.
